NAGA CITY, Philippines—A young mother was stabbed to death and might have been raped by a still unidentified assailant who broke into her house in Barangay San Antonio in Milaor town in Camarines Sur, a report from Milaor town police said Monday.

SPO1 Rolando Malaluan of the Milaor town police said the attack on Amy Servillion, 23, could have happened between Sunday night and early Monday.

Servillion’s lifeless body was found naked and with multiple stab wounds on Monday morning, Malaluan said.

Hurt in the assault was Servillion’s son Joshua, 2, who also sustained multiple stab wounds.

The toddler was rushed to the Bicol Medical Center and is still in critical condition.

Rape was being explored as one of the motives in the killing of the victim, whose husband Erwin was not at home when the incident happened.
