A 28-YEAR-OLD old man was shot dead outside his house in barangay Libo, Tuburan town, northwest Cebu on Monday night.

Vitor Gutual died of gunshot wounds in the head.

Police said the victim was husking coconuts outside his house in sitio Kabatuan when an unidentified man shot him from behind.

The victim’s girlfriend said that she and their daughter were asleep inside the house when the attack occurred.

The victim’s brother, Gino Gutual and some barangay tanods rushed to the house after hearing gunshots and found the man slumped on the ground.
