SAN Jose City, Nueva Ecija — A wanted felon tagged in a robbery case before the local court here and another carnapping suit in Tarlac province was nabbed during follow-up operations conducted here over the weekend.
City police chief Supt. Manuel S. Hidalgo identified the arrested man as Jay-jay Pantaleon, 21, single, of Javalde St., Bgy. Sibut, this city.
Joint elements of the Tarlac and the local police led respectively by Insp. Roilan V. Gonzales and SPO4 Camilo S. Alsasua Jr., nabbed him at the city public market while driving the carnapped motorcycle at 5:30 p.m.
Record check also revealed that the arrested suspect has a pending arrest warrant for robbery with violence with a recommended bail of P100,000 issued by Regional Trial Court Branch 39 Judge Cynthia Martinez-Florendo.
The suspect was placed under police custody facing charges of carnapping. The recovered carnapped motorcycle was already turned over to the Tarlac police.
