A 31-YEAR-OLD man fatally stabbed his uncle in barangay Basak, Lapu-Lapu City.
Jimmy Pepito surrendered to the police after the attack.
Pepito said he was sitting on a bench when his uncle Quirino Ompad arrived.
The suspect said his uncle scolded him that drew his ire.
Upset by the nagging, the suspect drew a knife and stabbed the victim in the neck and chest.
The suspect went to the Basak barangay hall to surrender.
The suspect was later turned over to the police.
Police recovered a kitchen knief measuring 11.5 inches from the suspect.
