CEBU CITY – A man was shot by his neighbor in Barangay Sambag 1 this city around 6 a.m. Wednesday, the Cebu City Police Office (CCPO) said.

Police identified the victim as Edmundo Eduarte Ursal, 41, who was shot twice.

The suspect was identified as Ernesto Guerra Jr., 31, who fled the scene before police arrived.

Police Officer 2 (PO2) Joemarie Montecino of Police Station 2 said the root of the incident occurred about a month ago when Ursal complained about a noise coming from the store owned by Guerra’s mother.

Ursal was immediately sent to Cebu City Medical Center (CCMC) by his live-in partner for immediate medical attention.
