A MAN was shot to death at the Rotunda Circle area in Cagayan de Oro Thursday dawn.

Police Officer 3 (PO3) Arnel Padinit of the Macasandig Police Station identified the victim as a Jeffrey “Nonoy” Agustin, and a resident of Limketkai Drive in Barangay 31.

Initial investigations revealed that Agustin was with two other companions on board a motorcycle. Later, he was asked to get off and wait at the roadside. When his companions came back, they shot him.

The victim was hit in the head and body. The body is now at the Scene of the Crime Operatives (Soco). No one has claimed the body of Agustin as of this posting Thursday night.

The police are verifying the involvement of Agustin in the series of robberies and killings in Cagayan de Oro.

Soco’s document examiner SPO1 Florence Eusebio said the doctor has yet to release the result of Agustin’s autopsy.

Seven empty shells were found in the crime scene and the police are facing a blank wall on the motive of the killing.
