A 26-YEAR-OLD man was killed on the spot by a lone gunman who shot him in the head in a dark portion of MICT Road at the Parola Compound in Binondo, Manila, the other night.

Leonardo Lariza, of 101 Gate 48, Parola Compound, Binondo, died instantly due to two bullet wounds in the head.

PO3 Cris  Ocampo of the Manila Police District-Homicide Section said the incident happened at around 8:45 p.m. while the victim was walking along a dark portion of the said area. 

The suspect was said to have suddenly appeared and was apparently awaiting the victim’s arrival.

After shooting the victim in the back of the head twice, the suspect fled.

An investigation is underway to establish the identity of the suspect and the motive for the killing.
