MANILA – A man who was previously jailed for attempted murder was shot dead in Navotas City.

The victim, identified as Jun Serencio, was walking in front of a store in Barangay Daang Hari when he was shot thrice in the back and head by an unidentified gunman.

The mother of the victim said her son has no knowN enemy. She however, admitted that her son had been involved in theft incidents.

No one saw the shooting. The police have yet to determine the motive behind Serencio’s killing.
