MANILA, Philippines — A 28-year-old man was shot and instantly killed in front of Jolibee fast-food chain branch on Sunday evening at the corner of Edsa and Kamias in Quezon City.

The victim, identified by the police as Roland Cuenca Jr., a resident of Barangay Escopa in Project 4, Quezon City, was shot dead in an area near a Quezon City police station, Supt. Anthony Yara, head of theQC criminal investigation and detection unit said. Y

He said the gunmen were riding a motorcycle when they drove by and shot Cuenca.
