MANILA – A man was shot dead in Camarin, Caloocan City late Tuesday evening.

The victim, identified through a driver’s license found in his possession as Alte Amor Mendoza, was found dead in an alley in Barangay 178 at around 11 p.m.

Mendoza, a resident of San Francisco del Monte in Quezon City, was killed by a gunshot to the head.

Before Mendoza’s body was discovered, some residents reported hearing gunfire shots.

Police said the unidentified suspect used a 38-caliber pistol in killing the victim.

They said nothing seemed to have been taken from the victim. An investigation has been launched to determine the motive behind the killing. – report from Raffy Santos, ABS-CBN News
