Man shot dead along the beach

A 26-year-old man from Batangas City was shot dead at the shoreline in Purok 27, Times Beach, Ecoland Drive, Davao City on Tuesday night.

Talomo police identified the victim as Joseph Olicia, a resident of Batangas City.

Police said Olicia was walking along the shore at around 8 p.m. on April 20 when armed men approached and shot him repeatedly.

The victim died on the spot while the assailants fled.

Police are still investigating the incident.
