AN EX-CONVICT allegedly shot his neighbor dead yesterday noon in sitio Kalubihan, Banawa, barangay Guadalupe, Cebu City.

Police are in hot pursuit of Estellito Estrada, who was tagged in the killing of Rey Tunacao, 49.

The victim was shot in the neck and temple.

Estrada previously served a sentence in Muntinlupa, said PO2 Judan Batucan.

Police said a grudge between the two men was the apparent cause of the violence.

PO2 Batucan said the victim earlier called the attention of Estrada over his indiscriminate disposal of garbage.

Initial investigation showed that Tunacao was walking home when the suspect waylaid him and fired a revolver.

Tunacao was rushed to the Cebu City Medical Center but was already dead upon arrival. /CORRESPONDENT CHITO ARAGON
