The suspect, Boy Catadman, stabbed his father Rodulfo with a knife after the victim scolded him for always getting into fights.
Catadman also attacked his cousins Diesel and Diosolde Catadman.
According to Diesel, Catadman’s father was able to run a few meters away from their house but the suspect caught up with him and was stabbed repeatedly.
They tried restraining Catadman but the suspect also attacked them with the knife.
Catadman admitted that he had ill feelings toward his father because he was always being reprimanded.
He also said his father physically abused him when he was a child.
Catadman’s relatives, meanwhile, said the suspect has always been violent.
They also accused the suspect of using illegal drugs.
