A 37-year-old man killed his younger brother over a measly “lumpiang shanghai” the other say in Tondo, Manila.

Now facing charges is Cristino Cabral, of 112 Romualdez St., Tondo, Manila.

PO3 Crispino Ocampo of the Manila Police District- homicide section said the incident took place at 2 p.m. in front of the house shared by Cabral and his brother Cristobal, 34.

The two had an argument after Cristino ate the food Cristobal kept in the refrigerator for his children.

During the heated discussion, the suspect took a knife and stabbed his brother in the back, killing him instantly.                                          Itchie  G. Cabayan
