Killed was Sarman Salimbulong y Taung, 33, married. His companion Eduardo Sarte y Base, 49, was wounded.

A police report disclosed that Salimbulong, Sarte and some companions were having a drinking spree around 8 p.m. beside the latter’s store when two men aboard a motorcycle with no plate number arrived.

The two men alighted from the motorcycle and threw offensive words on Salimbulong, followed by the pulling of guns and shooting at the latter.

Salimbulong sustained multiple gunshot wounds in the body and was taken to the Western Mindanao Medical Center where he was declared dead on arrival. Sarte was confined in critical condition.

The Divisoria police were still investigating the case.
