MANILA – A man was killed while his girlfriend was allegedly raped in Aborlan, Palawan last Saturday.
Joshua Bantug, 23, was killed allegedly by suspect Roart Aputan in Sitio Marikit before dawn on Saturday. Aputan allegedly bludgeoned the victim’s head with a rock.
Aputan, 27, was a caretaker of a house near the lot where the couple decided to spend the night.
Bantug’s 17-year-old girlfriend said the suspect let her leave after raping her thrice.
Bantug’s girlfriend then alerted the police about the incident, resulting in the arrest of the suspect.
