A man was gunned down in front of his live-in partner while they were walking on their way home Monday night in Quezon City.
The victim, identified as Alexander Sabalsa, 34, of Steve St., Bgy. Commonwealth, died on the spot at around 9 p.m. a few blocks away from their house.
Investigator PO2 Marlin dela Vega learned that the victim was walking with his 50-year-old live-in-partner Juliet Rosa after buying stuff from Commonwealth Market when the suspect appeared from behind.
Without warning, the suspect started shooting the victim who even tried to turn around to face his assailant.
After the victim fell, the gunman fled towards the market where he boarded a waiting tricycle to escape.
Sabalsa’s live-in partner got shocked upon witnessing how the suspect killed Alexander.
A follow-up investigation is being conducted to determine the motive behind the killing.
