A MAN was gunned down in front of his children while they were about to have their dinner inside their home in Quezon City Thursday night.

The victim, identified as Elmer Tandoc, 51, was declared dead on arrival at General Malvar Hospital due to multiple gunshot wounds in the body.

Insp. Elmer Monsalve, chief of the Homicide Investigation Section of the Quezon City Police District (QCPD), said two armed men shot the victim inside his house at 2 Kagandahan St., Bgy. Batasan Hills, Quezon City, at around 8 p.m.

The victim’s children said they were about to take dinner with their father that night when two men armed with handguns suddenly barged in  and shot their father and fled.
