In barangay Mactan, a 28-year-old was shot by a still-unidentified man around 11 a.m. yesterday.
Apolinario Dihayco was wounded in the nape.
Police said Dihayco was shot from behind while he was walking along the road.
The attacker fled after the attack.
A slug was still embedded in the victim’s neck when he was taken to the Mactan Doctors’ Hospital.
