MANILA, Philippines – A 46-year-old man was found dead inside a bakery in Commonwealth, Quezon City Saturday night.

The victim, identified as Danilo “Janggo” del Valle, appeared to have been smashed in the head with a foreign object.

According to nearby residents, they saw the caretaker of the bakery, identified only as “Kuya Jun,” rushing out of the premises with a filled bag.

The residents believed that “Kuya Jun” was going to the laundry but he never returned to the bakery.

They also claimed that the victim and the caretaker had a drinking session that afternoon, which may have resulted in a misunderstanding that led the suspect to commit the crime.
