THE gasoline was instantly absorbed by the red flesh that peeked horribly from the three victims’ hack wounds. Allan Relano, 25, poured the flammable liquid on his dad, sister and niece. He probably did it callously, without emotion. It was as if he was merely marinating chicken pieces for frying. Soon, he set his family on fire — then watched them be cooked to a golden brown. 

A report to Senior Supt. Fernando Villanueva, PNP Bulacan provincial director, showed that before burning the victims, Allan hackedthem to death 3:34 a.m. Tuesday inside their house in Purok 8, Carmel Farm, Bgy. Tungkong Manga, San Jose del Monte City, Bulacan.

The victims were identified as Allan’s father Arturo Rellano, 56, sister Jennifer, 30, and niece Kaylene Villanueva, four months old. 

Allan killed his family for no apparent reason. Tungkong Manga Bgy. Chairman Reynaldo Medina reported the triple tragedy to authorities at 6 a.m.

Allan’s brother Arturo Relano Jr. said the suspect is suffering from a mental illness.

The suspect is now detained at the SJDM City Jail.
