MANILA, Philippines – The Quezon City police have been alerted on a vehicle which was allegedly involved in kidnapping of a man Thursday, police said.
Police Officer 1 Julia Hudsoc of QCPD-Station 10 said a still unidentified man was allegedly abducted by armed men along Don A. Roces Avenu in Barangay (village) Obrero in Quezon City around 11:10 a.m.
She said the victim was onboard a green Toyota Revo when two white vehicles—a Toyota Altis and a Toyota Super Grandia (XHL 579)—tailed the victim and eventually stopped, pointed a gun at the victim, and pulled him out of his car.
In a radio interview with Radyo Inquirer 990AM, a witness claimed to have seen seven to eight men, whom he said have light complexions, and looked like Koreans or Chinese men.
“Inipit yung Revo na green, sasakyan nung inabduct nila. Tinutukan ng baril . . . madami sila [tapos] binuksan ng tao yung kanyang sasakyan tapos kinuha na sya,” Nelson Bragado said. The victim was then made to board the Grandia.
Hudsoc said the suspects also maneuvered the victim’s vehicle.
All units have been alerted of the Toyota Grandia’s plate number for possible apprehension of the suspects and recovery of the alleged kidnap victim.
