POLICE arrested a laborer recently for mauling and shooting a macho dancer in a local gay bar.

 

Station 10 policemen recently arrested Michael Dusalen for allegedly shooting Alvin Albana in his right leg.

Albana, an entertainer in Samurai Club claimed that around 1:20 a.m. last Tuesday, he and the suspect allegedly had a quarrel in a burger joint outside the bar.

 

The victim said the suspect suddenly pushed him and drew a handgun of unknown caliber and poked it at his head.

 

He added the suspect allegedly pulled the trigger twice but it did not fire prompting him to run inside the club and hide.

 

When another dancer at the club Carlo Fabon allegedly went outside, the suspect Dusalen allegedly fired the gun at him and hit his right leg.

 

When responding police from Station 10 arrived, the suspect was immediately arrested but the hand gun was not recovered.

 

The victim was brought to BGHMC for medical treatment.

 

Cases of physical injuries for the shooting incident and grave threats were filed by both Fabon and Albana against the suspect.

 

Police are still conducting investigation on the incident.

 

Baguio City Police office information officer, Supt. Engelbert Soriano said many incidents like these happen because of drunkenness.

 

This he said always turns into heated arguments which often results to crimes especially in the wee hours of the morning. (JM Agreda)
