POLICE are eyeing love triangle in the killing of a rookie policeman who was shot several times inside his electronic shop in Quiapo, Manila Thursday night.

PO1 Robin de Guzman, 29, of the Philippine National Police-Headquarters Support Services in Camp Crame, was declared dead on arrival at the Metropolitan Hospital.

Case officer PO3 Jonathan Bautista said De Guzman was giving instruction to his employee, Leonard Espinosa, when an unidentified man approached and shot him past 7 p.m.

The gunman fled on board a waiting motorcycle.
