A 35-year-old man was stabbed and wounded allegedly by a son of a Lapu-Lapu City police officer in barangay Ermita, Cebu City, yesterday morning.

Roswell Pogoy, son of SPO3 Roger “Tata” Pogoy, 28, was arrested by authorities in a follow-up operation, SPO1 Rogelio Nedamo of Lapu-Lapu police said.

Initial investigation revealed that Roswell stabbed Joel Segavia, 35, using an ice pick in the right shoulder. 

Segavia is now confined at Cebu City Medical Center.

Nedamo said Segavia positively identified Roswell as the one who attacked him.

In the hospital, Segavia said he and Pogoy had a misunderstanding over a video carrera game. /Chito Aragon
