A LABORER was killed after he was stabbed by his co-worker during a heated argument  in Taytay, Rizal, the other day.

A report submitted to Senior Supt. Rolando Anduyan, Rizal police director, said  Rod Abital de Luna, 44, married, construction worker, of Purok Sala, Bernardo Compound, Bgy. San Juan, sustained a stab wound in the back of his body and was declared dead on arrival at the Angono General Hospital.  

According Violeta de Luna, 40, wife of the victim, at about 3 p.m., her husband and the suspect, Roque Austria, 36, single, construction worker, also of said place, had a heated argument. The suspect got irked and stabbed the victim in the left upper back portion of his body.         

The suspect fled but was apprehended by the purok chairman and turned him over to the the police station.

Confiscated from his possession was a 13-inch kitchen knife. He is now detained and will be charged with murder
