A KOREAN national who was accused of stabbing a fellow Korean during a drinking session in barangay Marigondon, Lapu-Lapu City surrendered to the police yesterday.
Bae Koen Woo, 29, denied that he stabbed Kim Sung Su.
Previous reports said that the two Koreans were drinking near a beach on Sunday dawn when they started arguing.
Woo insisted that he didn’t know who attacked his friend.
An earlier report said Su was stabbed in the abdomen at the height of an argument. Su was rushed to a hospital, while Bae fled.
Bae told police that he didn’t know who stabbed Su.
