KIM Byunghuk, alias ‘Nick Kim’, the 39-year-old Korean national who was identified as the one who recently mauled black and blue at least two young Filipino women and then chop-chopped another way back in 2011, is now facing additional charges.

This, after a 25-year-old lady came forward to also lodge a complaint that she, too, had been almost  victimized by Kim’s ruthlessness but was just lucky to have escaped even before it happened.

The woman, identified as ‘Shirley’, of Pasay City, told the Manila Police District probers that  last January 17, Kim invited her to a drinking session in his condo unit at 9H Adriatico Palace Tower 3, Adriatico Street in Manila.

During the session, Shirley told probers, the Korean started warning that something ugly was about to happen, as he narrated that he was jailed for nine years in Korea for being a gangster and no longer has a family.

Shirley said Kim also made it clear that he hates women and that when she told him she wanted to go home, the Korean started getting violent.

Kim allegedly told Shirley that she would no longer be able to go home because he would kill her and then took his baseball bat.

On seeing this, Shirley said she ran away and felt the suspect’s hand trying to grab her by the hair but missed.

Earlier on, Kim was accused of mauling by two women aged 21 and 23, also in the same condo unit where he was billeted prior to his arrest, where the police reportedly seized Php25,000 in cash, drugs and paraphernalia for his use and several gadgets such as three laptops and cellphones.

He was also positively identified by barker Bernardo San Agustin as the person who rode a cab with chop-chop victim Camille Manaclay the night before her mutilated body was found in Laguna on April 1, 2011.

The two women who survived the heavy beatings were one in saying that Kim had bragged having killed women both in Korea and in the Philippines and threatened to do the same to them, but they managed to escape.
