MANILA – A jeepney driver was shot dead in Fairview, Quezon City Sunday evening.One of the jeepney passengers said she saw a motorcycle back rider shoot jeepney driver Alex Galvez, 42. The shooting triggered panic among the jeepney’s 10 passengers.The motorcycle driver and the gunman rider were not wearing helmets at the time of the shooting, but the witness still could not recall their faces.Police have yet to determine the motive behind the crime, but they are considering the possibility that a simple traffic altercation triggered the shooting.They noted that the crime was not well-planned as riding-in-tandem criminals usually wear helmets to conceal their identities. – report from Bettina Magsaysay, ABS-CBN News
