Police identified the fatalities as Lily Amohali y Warajan, 32, married and Barndon Sali, both of Patalon. They were killed by Jul Amohali, using a bolo.

A police report disclosed that Jul had suspected his wife, Lily, of having an illicit affair with Sali. Around 9 a.m., Jul armed himself with a bolo and hacked his wife and Sali.

Police said that after killing Lily and Sali, Jul brought their bodies to the Muslim cemetery in Sitio Malandi, Patalon where he dumped them in a corner.

Jul was later arrested by the police and the bodies were recovered at the Muslim cemetery few minutes later.

The victims sustained multiple hack wounds in their body and died on the spot.

Jul was arrested and detained at the police station pending the filing of charges against him in court.
