AN EXTREMELY jealous man stabbed his live-in partner to death when he heard her talking to someone else over her cellphone in Negros Occidental last Thursday.

The victim, who was  stabbed 17 times in different parts of her body,  was identified as Giselle Villanueva, 23, and resident of Bgy. Barera, Sagay City.

Policemen are now hunting down the suspect,  Don-don Tulingan.

Reports reaching Camp Crame showed the incident occurred inside the house of the couple.

It was learned that the suspect got jealous when he heard his live-in partner talking to another man on  her cellphone.

Don-don accused the victim of having an illicit relationship with another man that the latter vehemently denied.

A heated argument ensued between the couple until the suspect got a knife  and stabbed the victim repeatedly.
