A Filipina was mauled and her head shaved by her jealous American live-in partner in Mandaluyong City Thursday evening.

Courtney Davis, 35, a resident of Tower 3, Dansalan Garden, Bgy. Malamig, was charged with physical injury by his Pinay lover  Renavic Magbanua,23,  of DM Rivera St., Bgy. Poblacion.

Mandaluyong police Women and Children’s Protection Desk head Chief  Insp. Milany Martirez said last November  16, Magbanua was also mauled by the suspect for allegedly having an affair with another man.

“Pinagsasampal niya ako nu’ng araw na iyon, pinagpapalo niya ako ng hanger, sinisipa ang katawan ko at iniuuntog ang ulo ko sa salamin. Takot na takot ako sa kanya at pinagbabantaan pa akong papatayin,” Magbanua said.

However, the couple settled their differences after Davis promised not to harm her again.

But on Nov. 22, the jealous suspect again hit Magbanua  and accused her of seeing another man each time she left the condominium.

On Nov. 28 around 9 p.m., the sleeping Magbanua was awakened  by Davis, who dragged her from bed and shaved her head.

“Pinutol niya ’yung buhok ko at inuka-ukaan na halos makalbo na ko para raw hindi na ako makalabas ng bahay at para wala na ring magkagusto sa akin,” she narrated.

Suspect is now being hunted by the police.
