UNIDENTIFIED armed men wearing fatigue uniform abducted an Indian investor the other day in Bgy. Sarmiento, Parang, Maguindanao.

The victim was identified as Krishan Sing Arora, 54, Indian investor in the area.

The incident occurred at around 8:45 p.m. at the Eversun Plywood Factory compound in Bgy. Sarmiento.

Initial investigation revealed that the victim was inspecting the factory previously owned by a Korean when he was abducted by the armed men.

It was learned that the victim wanted to reopen the factory that has been closed for almost a decade.

A report said that after acquiring the factory, the victim immediately conducted repair and started hiring new employees that will run the company.

Authorities are now conducting follow-up investigation into the incident.
