Improvised bomb explodes at drugstore

CAMARINES SUR –AN IMPROVISED explosive device believed to have been planted by three men exploded in Pasacao, Camarines Sur, after midnight on Sunday, damaging a drugstore.

Inspector Rustum Dela Torre, deputy chief of Pasacao police, said the blast at the Generics drugstore in Barangay Sta. Rosa del Sur came two days after a militiaman was killed inside his house in Baao town by suspected communist rebels.

Abraham Bayrante, 33, of Barangay (village) Iyagan, was killed while watching television at 10 p.m., Maj. Harold Cabunoc, spokesperson of the Army’s 9th Infantry Division, said. Jonas Cabiles Soltes, Inquirer Southern Luzon
