MANILA, Philippines – Motorcycle-riding gunmen ambushed and killed a high school principal in a subdivision in Caloocan City, Wednesday afternoon.

Police said Dr. Nestor Yamsuan, principal of Bagong Silang High School in Caloocan City, was on board his car when he was ambushed and killed inside the Sampaguita Subdivision in Camarin district.

Investigators said that according to witnesses, 2 men in a motorcycle ambushed the school principal along Waling-Waling Street.

“Nakita ko ‘yung baril nakatalikod lang. Point blank, dalawa sila nakamotor,” a witness told ABS-CBN News.

Initial investigations revealed that the victim sustained 8 gunshot wounds in the body.

Residents were able to rush Yamsuan to the nearest hospital, but he died while undergoing treatment.
