MANILA, Philippines – Police are now looking for at least four suspects involved in alleged hazing activities in Las Piñas City over the weekend.

Police said the victim, a 17-year-old 1st year Mass Communication student of University of Perpetual Help System Dalta, was abandoned by alleged members of Tau Gamma Phi Sigma sorority at a tricycle terminal in Barangay Casimiro.

The victim underwent intense paddling from the members of the sorority last Saturday. She is now in stable condition, but her legs have turned black due to severe bruises.

A member of the sorority was already arrested. She gave the names of the four other suspects who are now the subject of a manhunt operation.

Police are also looking into claims of other witnesses that fraternity members and neophytes also joined the sorority during the initiation rites. – report from Dennis Datu, dzMM
