TWO unidentified suspects shot a “habal-habal” driver in Barangay Taboc, Danao City, around 2 a.m. Friday, police said.

The Cebu Provincial Police Office (CPPO) identified the victim as Ramil Martel Lao, 24, resident of Camalig Bato, Taboc, Danao City.

According to initial investigation, the victim was having a drinking spree with his friends in front of the barangay’s gymnasium when two persons riding in a Honda Wave Motorcycle shot him.

The victim was rushed to the Danao Provincial Hospital for treatment. He sustained a gunshot wound on his head. He was later transferred to a hospital in Cebu City for further medication.

DCPS said it will conduct further investigation to determine the motive of the incident, and follow-up operation to arrest the suspects
