A habal-habal driver was found dead in barangay Bunga, Toledo City, western Cebu.

The body of Guillermo Juarez, 32, bore multiple gunshot wounds when discovered on a grassy area in sitio Purok 11 around 2 p.m. yesterday.

A motorcycle, drug paraphernalia, two empty shells and live bullet of .45 caliber pistol were found near his body.

Police said two men were seen leaving the area before the body was discovered. 

Senior Supt Erson Digal, Cebu Provincial Police Office (CPPO) chief, said the killing may be drug-related.

He said the CPPO would coordinate with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in Central Visayas in the probe.
