STILL unidentified motorcycle-riding assassins shot a 58-year old dentist in Balagtas, Bulacan shortly before noon yesterday before fleeing.

Bulacan Police Provincial Office director, Senior Superintendent Bong Orduna identified the victim as Reynaldo L. Suatengco, a married resident of Pulong Gubat, Balagtas municipality.

Orduna said one of two motorcycle-riding gunmen fired at the victim without any provocation at 11:55 a.m. yesterday along Crossing Pulong Gubat before escaping towards the south direction of Balagtas.

The Bulacan police director said they are still investigating the motive and identities of the suspects who are still being hunted as of press time. He said that investigators from the Balagtas Municipal Police Station are also taking the statement of the victim’s family as part of the ongoing investigation.

He added that they are also taking the statement of some witnesses in the area. Orduna said checkpoints were immediately established to intercept the suspects shortly after the noontime attack. “I am still waiting for official developments on this case,” he told the Journal Group.
