Chief Supt. Edgardo T. Ladao has instructed the Pampanga Police Office headed by Senior Supt. R’win Pagkalinawan to conduct a thorough investigation into the killing of Orlando Suba Garcia, a resident of the said place.

A report said Garcia figured in an encounter with responding policemen after he poked a handgun on a customer at a videoke bar in Bgy. San Pedro.

The incident was immediately reported by witnesses to policemen at a checkpoint in Bgy. San Joaquin.

After a brief chase, police caught up with Garcia in Bgy. San Nicolas, Pampanga and flagged him down.

One of the policemen approached Garcia who suddenly drew a firearm. The police officer was able to grab his hands. During the scuffle, the firearm accidentally fired, hitting the suspect in the chest.

The suspect was declared dead on arrival at the San Luis District Hospital.
