CARMONA, Cavite — An employee was killed after he was shot on his way to the bank to deposit the gasoline station earnings of P346,540 yesterday morning.

The victim, Augusto Ocampo Laudiza, 35, gasoline boy, of Gasso Fuel Trading Inc., of 9327 JM Loyola St., Bgy. Maduya, Carmona, Cavite, died later in the hospital from gunshot wounds in the body.

The suspect carted away the amount after he shoot the victim and escaped.

Police investigator SP01 Jaime B. Arquillo said the victim, along with fellow employee Jell Manabo, was riding a motorcycle on his way to Metrobank Macaria Branch in Bgy. Mabuhay, Carmona town when he was shot by the suspect at 9:45 a.m.

Police believed the suspect knew that the victim had in his possession a big amount of money so the former held him up.
