A 19-YEAR-OLD man was shot dead in barangay Quiot, Cebu City.

Edmel Melorin was playing a video game in an alley in sitio View Hills around 9 p.m on Friday when a man appeared from behind and shot him in the head, said SPO3 Alex Dacua of the homicide section of the Cebu City Police Office (CCPO).

Police said Melorin was a member of the Crips. Investigation will be conducted to determine if the gunman was a member of the Bloods, rival gang of the Crips. 

The gunman fled on foot after the shooting, said police.
