A 50-year-old commercial photographer was riddled with bullets for unknown reasons by unidentified suspects in Port Area, Manila the other night.
Victim Alberto Dizon, of 882 T.M. Kalaw St., Ermita, Manila, was shot at Gasangan Street in Baseco Compound in Port Area at around 7:30 p.m.
Investigation made by Det. Ronald Gallo of the Manila Police District-Crimes Against Persons Investigation showed that a certain Nelle Garces, 33, of Blk.1, Gasangan in Baseco Compound, heard successive gunshots and when she checked out what happened, she saw the victim already lying bloodied on the ground.
Immediately, she sought out the barangay officials in the area who, in turn, reported the matter to the police.
Later on, it was found out that the victim sustained four gunshot wounds in the body. He was shot with a .45 cal. firearm.
The police are still investigating to establish the suspects’ identities and the motive behind the killing.
Dizon, police said, does not live in the area and might have gone there to visit his sister Lucyla, 42, who reportedly lives in Baseco Compound.
