The victim was identified as Joselito Alejandro Guevara, 45, married, and a resident of the said barangay.

Police said that the victim suffered multiple stab wounds on the left breast, left wrist and at the back of his body resulting to his instantaneous death.

Reports identified the suspect as a certain Ruffu Mendoza Francisco, of legal age, a carpenter, also of the said place.

Recovered from the crime scene was a small bolo believed to be owned by the victim.

Initial investigation conducted by the policemen of Culianan Police Station disclosed that the victim was walking at the vicinity of Jovin Mendoza residence when he sensed the suspect approaching towards his direction then a heated altercation ensued between them prompted the former to pull out his bolo and stabbed the latter.
