A DENTIST, his wife and their 12 year-old daughter were found dead inside their residence in Morong, Rizal, on Thursday afternoon.
Senior Insp. Amadeo “Baby” Estrella, Morong chief of police, in his report to Senior Supt. Rolando Anduyan, Rizal police director, said the victims were identified as Edgar Dalupe, 49, dentist, his wife Teresa, 47, and daughter Zynalcynth, 12, student, all of 1045 Capinpin St., Bgy. San Juan, Morong, Rizal.
Senior Insp. Estrella said Mark Anthony Dalupe, brother of Edgar, discovered the lifeless bodies of the victims when he went to their house at 11:20 a.m.
Dalupe first discovered his sister-in-law (Teresa) bloodied in the kitchen with stab wounds in the back and neck, his brother in the bathroom floor with strangulation marks (binigti) and his niece inside a washing machine.
Investigation shows that at around 7 a.m., the school service bus arrived to fetch Zynalcynth to her school in Tanay. The bus driver allegedly called up Zynalcynth but no one answered.
A neighbor of the victims told the driver that the family left early that morning.
“May posibilidad na gabi pa nangyari ang pagpaslang sa pamilya. Wala pa kaming motibo at hanggang ngayon ay nagsasagawa pa kami ng imbestigasyon,” Estrella said.
Members of a SOCO team conducted technical investigation at the scene and brought the cadavers to the PNP Crime Laboratory in Hilltop, Taytay for autopsy.
