BATANGAS CITY, Batangas, Philippines – A 33-year-old faith healer was shot dead over money in Barangay (Village) Coloconto, San Juan, Batangas, Friday night, police said Sunday.

Senior Superintendent Alberto Supapo, Batangas police director, said victim Arnold Garcia was shot dead by suspect Miguel Luistro, 52, at around 7:30 p.m. as the two were arguing over money.

At the height of their confrontation, Luistro drew his .45-caliber pistol and shot Garcia several times.

Garcia suffered multiple bullet wounds on his body and died on the spot.

Luistro fled in unknown direction.

Recovered from the crime scene were five spent shells and three slugs of .45-caliber pistol.
