Source: A supervisor of a plywood company shot and killed their former employee in Barangay Recodo at dawn last Sunday. Police identified the fatality as Rogelio Ganancial of Recodo. He was shot by Georgino Carpio y Limen, supervisor of Dacon Company. A police report disclosed that Ganancial who was apparently drunk went to the Dacon Company where he was formerly working and tried to broke into the premises, prompting security personnel to stop him considering he was not anymore connected with the company. At this point, Carpio arrived at the gate area where Ganancial started shouting insults at him. Carpio grabbed an M16 rifle and fired warning shots but one of the bullets hit Ganancial in the body. The victim was taken to the Brent Hospital where he died while undergoing treatment. Carpio remained at large as of press time.
