A woman was gunned down while cooking meals for her eatery customers in Quezon City on Thursday morning.
Killed on the spot due to gunshot wounds in the head and chest was Marissa Montives, 40, canteen owner.
Case investigator PO3 Jamie de Jesus said the incident happened at around 5:45 a.m. Thursday in front of her eatery at MRB Building 3, Pilot Area, Bgy. Commonwealth.
According to her sister Victoria Garcia, two men aboard a black Honda XRM motorcycle were behind the shooting.
The gunman, said to be 25 to 30 years old, wore a white sweater and a black helmet, 5-foot-2 tall, slim and fair skinned.
The sisters were busy cooking meals for the day when the black motorcycle parked in front of their store.
The gunman alighted, walked toward the canteen and fired his caliber .45 pistol three times at Montives.
The suspects then sped away while the victim’s sister shouted for help.
