A suspected drug pusher was wounded after a supplier shot him in Tondo, Manila the other day for alleged failure to remit proceeds from drug sales.
Tomas Reyes, 45, of 748 Kagandahan St., Tondo, Manila, sustained a gunshot wound to the left thigh after suspect Elmer Gamboa shot him with a .45 cal. gun. Gamboa fled along with the said firearm.
Supt. Roderick Mariano, station commander of the Manila Police District-Police Station 7, said the incident took place at 10:15 a.m.
He said the suspect confronted the victim and demanded him to remit payment for the drugs he earlier took from the suspect.
They then had a heated verbal exchange until the suspect drew a gun and shot the victim pointblank.
