LAGUNA, Philippines – The president of a jeepney drivers’ association was shot dead in San Pablo City on Monday evening, police said Tuesday.

Rafael Villapando, whose group plies the San Pablo City–Candelaria, Quezon route, was approached by a lone gunman on foot and shot twice in the neck and head at the jeepney terminal in Barangay Poblacion at 7:10 p.m., said San Pablo City police chief Supt.
